BLOGMAS - Candy Cane Cookies!

this is my attempt at candy cane cookies! all i did was make some cookie dough, split it in half and dye one half red with food dye. then roll some little "logs" of dough and twist a red and white one together. as you can see mine are really fat, so make sure your "logs" are thin, or they will look like mine :) but they taste delicious! let me know if you try these out or have made them before, i love this idea!

BLOGMAS - Yet Another Christmas Mani

yess, i know i'm such a slacker! i've never been so busy in my life, junior year is really getting to me! but i did manage to have time to night to create yes, another, christmas manicure! i attempted to try my cheetah nail art again (leopard nails) but it kinda just looks like awkward polka dots. but i'll take it :)

BLOGMAS - December Wants

1. an ugly christmas sweater - enough said

2. a white jacket - i think they're so perfect for winter

3. glitter sequined shorts - necessity for new years

4. red scarf - to make my outfits more festive

5. black shoulder bag - in between bags right now

so pretty much i need these items to survive december!

BLOGMAS - It's Christmas When...

so the weather here lately has caused me to feel like its still fall, and i keep forgetting to be in the christmas spirit! its been in the low 60's, high 50's and raining! this isn't the usual december weather (global warming? lol) for us and i haven't felt like christmas is coming yet! so i decided to take note on the things that make me feel festive to put me in the holiday mood!

1. driving around town and seeing all the lights lit up

2. getting to stare at my christmas tree & decorations

3. wearing my christmas pjs and fuzzy socks

4. starting my homework before 8 so i can watch christmas movies at night

5. my non-stop playing of christmas music (it's a disease)

there's obviously so much more things to bring up the christmas mood but these are the things i took note of during my day filled with gross weather. fingers crossed it gets cold soon! :)

this is the first of many holiday manis that i will be sporting this december. i tried to stay subtle because its only the beginning of the holiday season with an extremely pale pink with only glitter on two fingers.

BLOGMAS - December Bucket List

it's day 2 so i created a list of things i need to 

complete by the end of christmas day!

with 2 days down, here are my 23 goals:

1. (re)decorate my room (i already did this but i'm not pleased with it!) 

2. light up my bedroom with christmas lights

3. string lights outside

4. decorate the tree with the fam

5. create the perfect christmas playlist

6. go christmas shopping

7. make gifts to give

8. create and sport a holiday mani

9. make a popcorn garland 

10. buy or make an ugly christmas sweater

11. make a gingerbread house

12. cut out some paper snowflakes

13. bake some candy cane cookies

14. drink a holiday beverage at starbuck's

15. make popcorn snowmen

16. visit the rockefeller center tree

17. ice skate

18. make peppermint bark

19. create cookies from scratch

20. buy and snuggle in christmas pajamas

21. spend a whole day just watching christmas movies

22. send a christmas card

23. have a lovely christmas!

so i will be succeeding in crossing off all of these from my list

and update you all on the daily blog posts! some will have
an entire post dedicated to it, while some will just be
alluded to. i promise christmas will not end without
each and every one crossed off, i swear!
